Description

Used, Good condition.
Tested & verified IN VEHICLE (not an unreliable bench test with ohm meter)
.  The vehicle's SRS computer went through it's complete startup self-test, approved the sensor, the airbag icon light goes off, & SRS computer reports no codes.  Genuine GM.
Unlike impact sensors from some car companies (e.g., Honda), resistance testing these GM airbag impact sensors with an ohm-meter
DOES NOT WORK
.  These GM sensors are built differently than those you can resistance test.  If you try it on these GM sensors, comparing a good sensor to a bad one, you'll find that BOTH good & bad will measure the exact same resistance: high...open circuit (which, on other sensor brands/designs, means they are "good").  There's no difference in resistance....so a resistance test CANNOT tell you whether a used GM sensor is good or bad.  To be certain a
used GM
sensor
will work,
IT MUST PASS
an
IN-VEHICLE TEST
.  Lots of cars at salvage yards are wrecked, so their impact sensors are spent.  The other un-wrecked cars at salvage yards are usually really old and totally used up, so their sensors may have already failed just like yours has.  These salvage yards selling cheaper sensors on eBay
do not test their sensors, much less, test them in a vehicle.
If all they do is a visual inspection, that simply won't confirm a sensor is good.  Plenty of perfectly good looking sensors fail.  If they claim to do a resistance test,
EVERY GM sensor they test
will measure "high resistance" which on other brands of sensors means they are "good".  So, they'll send out bad sensors thinking they are good.  If you buy an untested sensor (or one that's only been "component tested" measuring its resistance), be prepared for the hassle of returning it, likely paying for return shipping, waiting, and then doing the whole repair over again.  An alternative:
All my sensors have passed an IN-VEHICLE TEST in a proper vehicle
.
Fits 2005, 2006, 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Escalade, Avalanche, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL
Original GM item.
The part you're replacing should have a yellow sticker showing either 15103522, 10370149, 15057506, or AA10028 (these 4 sensor parts are interchangeable and you can mix in any combination).
I've sold many of these to satisfied buyers, but every time I go on a short vacation and "suspend" the ad (i.e., temporarily end it), when I return and re-start the suspended ad, eBay treats it as a new ad and starts the sales counter at zero again, losing the true count of total sold.  So, the point is I've sold far more than this ad shows and there are indeed many satisfied buyers.
I will send you one of these 3 part numbers (15103522, 10370149, 15057506).  The picture shows only one sensor, having # 10370149.  I didn't want to picture all 3 different sensors w/ their distinct numbers because some viewers would think the sale is for 3 sensors.  This sale is for ONE sensor, and you will receive ONE of these 3 interchangeable part numbers: 15103522, 10370149, or 15057506.  All 3 work in 2005/6/7 GM vehicles listed above, can be mixed in any combination, and all have been
TESTED AND VERIFIED IN-VEHICLE.
